Currently the weekly wine columnist for Naples Daily News in beautiful Naples, Florida, I have previously written for Wine Enthusiast.com, Gulfshore Life, Gulf and Main, Florida Weekly, Grandeur Magazine, and the Fort Myers News Press. Having been a T.V. journalist for the first ten years of my adult life I have written about everything from plane crashes, kidnappings, and stand-offs to elections, parades, and testicle festivals. My undergraduate degree is in Mass Communication and my Master's degree from the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Italy is in Communication of Quality Products. Working in the wine industry in Naples, Florida has enhanced not only my knowledge of the American wine trade and its key players, this work has created a world-wide network of contacts who continue to inspire and inform my ever-growing love of wine.
I also write newsletters, blogs, label copy, brochures, and PR material in English and Italian for Italian wineries such as Follador Prosecco.
I am also the president of the local chapter of Slow Food International. In this role I am helping bring culinary education to school children and community gardeners through our Chef Corps initiative which brings local chefs to the classroom.
